It is proposed that The Basildon Academies act as the ‘lead school’. SEST will be based on The Upper Academy site in Pitsea. The Basildon Academies will have Mathematics and Enterprise Specialisms. The Lower Academy, in Basildon, is a short distance from the Upper Academy. It is proposed that The Upper Academy will take responsibility for delivering the Mathematics, Science, and Information Communication Technology subject elements of the course and also, it will lead the General Professional Studies programme. Trainees studying Mathematics, Science and ICT will be based here for the subject component of the course. The Chafford Hundred Campus is an 11-16 secondary school based at Grays, Thurrock. It has Business and Enterprise Specialisms. Hassenbrook School is an 11-16 comprehensive school in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex. Hassenbrook has Technology Specialism and takes responsibility for delivering the Design and Technology subject element of the course. Trainees studying Design and Technology will be based here for Subject Professional Studies. St Clere’s School is an 11-16 comprehensive school situated in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex. St Clere’s has Language Specialism and Training School status and takes responsibility for delivering the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) subject element of the course. Trainees studying MFL will be based here for Subject Professional Studies. Placement Schools King John School is an 11-16 comprehensive school situated in South Benfleet, Essex. King John has Mathematics and Computing Specialisms. William de Ferrers School is an 11-18 comprehensive school situated in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex. William de Ferrers has Sports Specialism. All schools provide places for serial and block placements. |
